Celebrating 14 Years of Transformation and Gratitude
Good morning, my Catholic brothers!
Waking up on this beautiful day, I'm giving a big shoutout to God for another awesome day and a special shoutout for my 14th wedding anniversary! Can you believe it? I’m celebrating 14 years with my amazing wife, and I’m so grateful for all that God has done in my life and continues to do.
Now, let me tell you, 15 years ago, I was a real piece of work. I was selfish, angry, and always blaming everyone else for my problems. I was a binge-drinking alcoholic and knee-deep in the Bloods gang in NYC. But then I met my wife. Two nights before we met, I was parked on my aunt's couch, having a serious one-on-one with God, asking Him to make me a better man. Fast forward, and here I am today!
While my family pretty much blacklisted me, my wife stuck by me through thick and thin, despite my best efforts to drive her away with my drinking and bad behavior. I'm beyond grateful for her and thrilled to celebrate 14 years together.
Over the years, I've also met some fantastic guys—yep, that's you! As I sit here with my coffee, reflecting on how far I’ve come, I’m filled with high hopes, knowing that God has so much more in store for us.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold the new has come!" — 2 Corinthians 5:17
May God continue to bless us all and keep us always. God bless you, Brothers.
Peace
