Day 5 St Joseph Terror of Demons Novena

And when the time came for their purification according to the law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord (as it is written in the law of the Lord, “Every male that opens the womb shall be called holy to the Lord”) and to offer a sacrifice according to what is said in the law of the Lord, “a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.” Luke 2:22 - 24  St Joseph, you took your bride to present her infant, Jesus, at the temple as required by the law. Were you embarrassed, questioning how you could show your face with such a little gift? Everyone would see how poor you were. This is the son of God! You should have a kingly gift presented at the temple. St Joseph refused to listen to these lies.

Saint Joseph knew his obligation of obedience to the law and to God, and he completed what was necessary under the law. He was rewarded and marveled in hearing these words from Simeon.”And inspired by the Spirit he came into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the law, he took him up in his arms and blessed God and said, “Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word; for mine eyes have seen thy salvation which thou hast prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to thy people Israel.”And his father and his mother marveled at what was said about him” (Luke 2:27-33)

Do you strive to keep up with the Jones’? Do you allow what others might think of you to interfere with what God wants you to do? Do you care more about the boss’s approval than God's?

Personal Intention We request that the Holy Spirit be with our speakers Jon Leonetti, Brother Simon and Brother John Paul so they may reach the men in attendance. We humbly request that men are drawn to hear this message but especially the young man. Place a stirring in the heart of those whom you want to attend. Continue to bless God Squad Canada and the ministries of all our speakers current and past!

St Joseph, cover me with your Holy Cloak and chase away the enemy. Please ask Mary to comfort me and ask Jesus to heal me from the lies of Satan. Request that the Holy Spirit reveal my true identity as seen by God the Father.

Say an Our Father, a Hail Mary, a Glory Be and St Joseph Terror of Demons prayer.
