Lessons learned from experience - that I now live by

Hey men, when you live like I have, you learn a lot of things, and I thrive on sharing them to help others get ahead. Here’s a list of thoughts and quotes that routinely come to my mind. They inspire me. Keep me focused. Maybe, they’ll help you.

Check it out, and comment one of your own sayings afterward.

Being great in life only comes down to ½ a dozen things.

Life is a gift and time is something you only lose, don’t take it for granted.

Absolutely stay focused on what you want to happen and don’t give any thought to what you don’t want to happen.

You want to get to a position as fast as possible where your money is working for you and where you are not working for your money. KEY THOUGHT: SAVE FIRST, SPEND LAST.

Understand the power of goal-setting in all 6 areas of life. It helps make decisions congruent with your goals. This was the most important thing learned from Don Dwyer. “It’s a discipline.”

“Everything Matters” - there is not any neutral activity. Everything you do takes you toward or away from something.

Never blame, never alibi, never make excuses.

Don’t take your health for granted.

Live life intentionally: When you play..PLAY, When you work.. WORK.

Leave your spouse notes and send flowers.

Leadership: Hold the vision. Operationalize the values. Learn and live the theory. Embrace the paradox.

Nothing tastes and feels as good as the taste and feel of being healthy.

If you will do what most will not do for just the next few years, then you can do what they cannot do for the rest of your life. – Quote by Wade Cook

The rich save first – then spend what is left.

Promise only what you can deliver – and – deliver more than you promise.

Constancy: Whatever surprises leaders themselves may face, they don’t create any for the group.
Congruity: Leaders walk their talk. In true leaders, there is no gap between the theories they espouse and the life they practice.
Reliability: Leaders are there when it counts; they are ready to support their co-workers in the moments that matter.
Integrity: Leaders honor their commitments and promises.

Be quick, but never hurry.

Learn as is you were to live forever; live as if you were to die tomorrow.

My purpose: Help every person I come in contact with live a richer and fuller life!
