A Second Baptism

Dear Brothers, I need your prayers and your thoughts. My adult son Nate (24), walked away from his Catholic faith while at college. Over the last 6 months, the Holy Spirit has been active in his heart. He has connected with a non-denomination Christian church and is very excited about Jesus Christ. It has been a true blessing to share my faith again with my son in some true heart to heart conversations.

He recently shared with me that his church is offering public, full submersion baptisms in September and he invited me to come to be a witness.

Brothers, I am torn. I know the teachings of the Catholic Church when it comes to Baptism. I humbly and lovingly shared with Nate that I could not support his desire to be baptized again.

Am I wrong here? Am I able to support Nate? Please keep my whole family in your prayers. The stronger I grow in my faith, the more I feel alone on my faith journey with my family.
