The virgin Martyr Agnes whose feast we celebrate today, was guided by the law of charity, she poured out her life for Christ. True to her name Agnes, which means lamb, went forth like an innocent lamb before the cruelty of her persecutors. So tender in years (12), blessed Agnes conquered the world, not by force of arms, but by charity and chastity. Let us imitate her Innocence.
