Barnabas was a Good Man

Today’s reading from Acts is resonating with me this morning. Particularly about Barnabas’ goodness.

The Greek being used for “good” is agathos and it implies an intrinsic goodness, as opposed to something that looks good or is a good tool--kind of like being good for a job, but not necessarily all jobs (it’s still useful, but only in certain applications).

If you want to chat about this further, here’s a link to my Substack. All of my content is free. My goal with Substack is that I want to make you a stronger evangelist by praying with scripture every day. You’ll get posts weekly, but somehow let this encourage you to dive into the Heart of Jesus through scripture
