Easter Running

Happy Easter everyone.

In today's gospel (John 20:1-9) I was struck by all the running, and particularly Mary's running from the tomb to tell the disciples. She must have thought that she could catch whomever moved the Lord from his tomb if only she moved fast enough.

As Peter and John show, such hustle was normative for discipleship.
