God sees you. He knows. And He is still good.
Hey,
I know you’ve got deadlines. Emails piling up. Maybe your boss breathing down your neck or bills stacking up at home. Maybe you’re carrying something heavier no one even sees — stress, confusion, doubt, anxiety.
But right now, I want to remind you of one truth that can cut through all that noise.
God is good. Always.
I know, some days it’s hard to believe that. Some days, you look around at the mess, the uncertainty, the setbacks, and think, “Where is His goodness now?” You’re not alone in that feeling.
Even King David — a man after God’s own heart — felt that way. He cried out in Psalm 13:
"How long, Lord? Will you utterly forget me?
How long will you hide your face from me?"
Yeah, even the saints have wrestled with doubt and despair. You’re in good company, brother.
But here’s what I want you to see today.
God’s goodness isn’t based on your circumstances. It’s based on His character.
In yesterday's reading, Psalm 139 reminds us:
"You have searched me, Lord, and you know me…
You discern my going out and my lying down;
You are familiar with all my ways."
God sees the stress at work. He knows the weight on your shoulders. He knows the questions you don’t even say out loud.
And still — He is good.
The ancient wisdom of Sirach 2:2 calls us to lean into that truth, especially when life feels heavy:
"Be sincere of heart and steadfast, and do not be alarmed when disaster comes."
Remain in Him. Stay steady. Hold tight to hope.
Need proof of His goodness? Look around.
The beauty of the sky. The sound of music that lifts your spirit. The small moments of laughter. The goodness we see in nature, in art, in music, in literature — all of that is just a fraction of the goodness that comes from the Creator who made it all.
If there’s good to be found in music, imagine the goodness flowing from the God who composed every note of creation.
So no, brother, you’re not crazy for feeling discouraged sometimes. But you’re not abandoned either.
The saints walked through darkness — and so will we. But they kept walking.
So here’s my advice for today:
When life feels dark, hold tight to the goodness of God. Even when you can’t feel it. Even when you can’t see it yet.
Look up at the sky.
Pause and hear the music.
See the beauty around you.
And remember — the God who made all of that is holding your life, too.
You are known. You are seen. You are not forgotten.
Stay steady, brother. His goodness is still chasing you, even now.
