In the words of Gandalf

My brothers, we take part in a battle that is beyond us. We cannot by our own strength win it, and we cannot with our own minds grasp it. The cosmic war is won through Christ, yes, but we still fight in it. If all it took was brilliant mind or a great leader to convert the world it would have happened. If it all took was great wisdom written down, again, it would have happened. J.R.R. Tolkien was onto something when he wrote the Fellowship of the Ring. Frodo’s friends, who are like us without great power, wish to go with him, and Gandalf speaks up for them saying, “I think, Elrond, that in this matter it would be well to trust rather to their friendship than to great wisdom.”

In the matters of our spiritual lives and the battle for souls we know and are here in testament to the power of friendship to prevail. It is a blessing to be with you brothers.
