Inferno Men’s Conference

🔥 Reflecting on the Inferno Men’s Conference: A Call to Action 🔥

Yesterday in Colorado Springs, something truly extraordinary happened: men gathered together to be ministered to and to minister to one another. The Inferno Men’s Conference was a day centered entirely on Christ and His Church, igniting a fire within us to return to our families, parishes, and communities with renewed purpose and faith.

With the Eucharist at the heart of every moment, Bishop Golka set the tone by presiding over Mass and offering a powerful reminder of the sacraments available to us as Catholic men. Adoration, confession, and prayer surrounded us throughout the day, as we were blessed by talks and breakout sessions led by incredible speakers like Jimmy Wahlberg, Christopher Stefanick, and Dan Donaldson.

One of the most impactful messages came from Christopher Stefanick, who challenged us to start small but meaningful connections in our communities. His simple yet profound advice? Begin with a coffee pot and a conversation. Ask the men around you:

“How is God working in your life right now?”

It’s through these genuine, heart-led conversations that we can break the isolation so many men face today—whether it’s the busyness of life, struggles with faith, or the grip of technology on our relationships.

The Heroic Men booth played a vital role in this mission, offering tools, resources, and brotherly encouragement to spark these connections. Dan Donaldson reminded us how critical it is for men to step out of their comfort zones, form small groups, and build meaningful accountability with one another.

Statistics don’t lie: men today are more isolated than ever, and the younger generation is losing touch with genuine, face-to-face relationships. The solution starts with us. It’s about showing up, asking the right questions, and building community right where we are.

So here’s my challenge to you, brothers:

Don’t let the fire lit at Inferno end here. Take the next step—whether it’s starting a men’s group in your parish, inviting a coworker to coffee, or simply asking a neighbor how God is working in their life. Be the man God is calling you to be.

I’m so grateful to have spent the day alongside my brothers and friends, even with a snowstorm trying to keep me away! What an incredible turnout of men from across the Colorado diocese, all seeking to deepen their faith and answer God’s call.

This is how we build stronger families, communities, and a Church that thrives: one step, one conversation, one prayer at a time.

To my brothers: You are in my prayers. Keep pushing forward. We’re in this together.

God bless you all! Let’s ignite the fire in our communities.
