Kingsport TN Men's Retreat Was a Great Success!

On Saturday, March 9th, the Knights of Columbus Council 6992 of St. Dominic’s parish in Kingsport, Tennessee, hosted its third annual Men’s retreat. Over 90 men attended the event, which lasted from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM in the afternoon.

It was a textbook case of how to host a parish based men’s retreat with amazing support from the pastor and the entire Knights of Columbus Council. We begin our day with a personal witness of one of the attendees who shared his journey with Christ and the challenges he faced as he walked with (and at times without) God. His sharing of a heart-wrenching story was a true gift that helped us begin our retreat with immense gratitude for God’s mercy and His grace.

I love watching men of all ages share their faith and become a band of Catholic brothers right before my eyes. It is a blessing to be able to spend the day with all these great men, and I look forward to next year.
