Of Fishers of Men and Christology

And Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Mark 1:17

Christ the eternal Logos(Word) of God bids us follow him. Christian discipleship entails following Jesus wherever he goes. To fish for men, we must learn to remain in the boat of Jesus, which is the Church. Let us offer our hearts willingly to Christ, so that he may teach us his ways, that we may walk in his paths. The fisher of men must be a lover of men. You cannot fish, if u cannot love. Spread the net of love into the ocean of the world, and fish for men and women, bringing them into the kingdom of God.
