Prayer of the Weak
Good morning men! It is a Joy to be with you here and help grow the Kingdom of Heaven. While in morning prayer a few weeks ago, I was feeling the plight of those in Canada in particular, because that is where I live, that have been led down a dark path and feel bereft of human love and compassion. Those who are subjecting themselves to harmful surgeries or ending their lives in hospitals alone without family, friends or a funeral. The ones we could not reach. The Holy Spirit sent this prayer to me.
Lord I am blind, please hold my hand,
Lord I am deaf, please fill my ears with your music,
Lord I am mute, please speak for me,
Lord I am crippled, please carry me in your strong arms,
Lord my heart is empty, please fill it with your Joy
Lord, I am parched, please pour me a pitcher of living water,
Lord I am starving, please feed me a banquet of Faith,
Lord I am desperate, please hold me,
Lord I am so cold, I am numb. Please warm my soul with the fire of the Holy Spirit,
Lord, I am dying, please bring me back to life..
Amen.
