Survivor
Hi Men,
I have shared this before with people in my inner circle. Back in 2019, I was suicidal (by the grace of God I am in a far better spot now). I admitted myself to an inpatient behavioral health facility, three times in one year. During those three times I was admitted, several people from the parish I belonged to now, came to visit me, call me, shower me with love and concern for my well being. I had a parishioner from a neighboring parish come and talk to me.
I will never forget how selfless people were in this moment. So much of my life I have felt like the black sheep. People would do things for others, but when it came to me, people didn't bother. I was put in my own bubble, being called the most innocent person they knew and that they couldn't relate to. I have been sexually harassed back when I was younger and verbally abused.
Remember this men, Jesus always goes back for that missing sheep. Jesus always goes back for the sheep that strayed from the pack.
He loves each and every one of you.
