Thanksgiving Prayer ✝️🤲

Heavenly Father,

Giver of all good things, we humbly come before You on this Thanksgiving Day with hearts overflowing in grace and gratitude. We praise You, Lord, for Your boundless mercy, for the beauty of creation and for the blessings You have so generously bestowed upon us.

On this day, we also lift up family, friends and those dear to our hearts who are unable to join us. Whether separated by distance, illness, or other challenges, may they feel the warmth of our love and the comfort of Your presence. Keep them close to You, Lord, and bless them abundantly.

We also pray for all of our brothers and sisters who are called to serve others this day, especially law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and members of the military. As they sacrifice time with their families to protect, heal, and defend Your people, we ask that You watch over them and grant them safety. Bless their families with peace and comfort during their absence, and may their service always be a reflection of Your love and justice.

Almighty God, as we gather around the table with those we hold dear, may our gratitude extend beyond words into action. Inspire us to love as You love, to serve as Christ served, and to trust in Your providence in all things. May this day of thanksgiving renew our hearts to live every day for Your glory.

Bless this meal we share, O Lord, and the hands that prepared it. Sanctify our conversations, our laughter, and our moments of remembrance as we cherish the memories of loved ones whom You have called home to share in Your glory. Draw us ever closer to one another in love and unity. May our family be a constant witness to Your boundless love and mercy in the world.

Lord, entrust all our prayers and thanksgivings through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, and we offer them to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever.
