The downside of most men's groups?

Having been in and out of different men’s groups (probably not as many as the gents in this brotherhood), this post made some good points. Inspired me to want to get this community going.

I get the sense that CMLA and HeroicMen helps us bypass a lot of these complaints (link in the comments):

• “ ‘spiritual ceremony’

• “cheesy masculine exercises

• “academic discussions like “how do we redefine masculinity”, 

• “one guru giving all the advice

• “stuffy vibes with guys I couldn’t relate to

My sense is that the HeroicMen program solves a bunch of these.
