The Intimacy of Jesus Christ in the NICU

Brothers, six weeks ago, I was wiping blood off my bathroom floor.

It reminded me of that scene in the Passion where Our Mother returns to wipe the ground where her Son was scourged.

As Holy Week is coming up, it's a gift to share about that traumatic experience of my eighth child's early arrival, the scary C-section, the NICU---and how it all brought me so intimately closer to Our Lord.
