Today's reflection

And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand. Mark 3:25

Being is One. Whatever brings division into being opposes the oneness of being. Sin brings division, hence it is opposed to being. Whenever we sin, we experience a division and a disorder within our being and if this sin becomes habitual, our being is habitually in a state of division and disorder. The consequences of this division is our inability to attain to goodness. To overcome the division and disorder caused by sin, we must learn to Love, because Love conquers all (omnia vincit amor).
