Today's reflection

"If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark 4:23 What am I to hear, you may ask? Then the Lord will answer, you must hear the Word which says to you, let your light shine before men that seeing your good works they may glorify your father who is in heaven. But you may say, I have heard this several times but it has done me no good. Again the Lord will answer, it has done you no good because you delight to hear the voice and not the word, your ears are itching to hear soothing words and not words of rebuke. You wish to remain in your sin, because your ears have grown dull of hearing the truth. If you will humble yourself, then you will hear the mighty command of the savior "Ephphatha".
