When Jesus speaks, freedom follows.

In today’s Gospel (Luke 4:31–37), Jesus enters the synagogue and sets a man free from an unclean spirit, not with force, but with a word.

“With authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out.”

That’s who Jesus is: the One who speaks life into places held captive. The One whose very presence brings peace, order, and healing.

This isn’t just a story from 2,000 years ago. It’s a reminder for you today:

Whatever has felt stuck, heavy, or unclean in your life, He can speak into that. And when He does, freedom follows.
